What to plan before you book

  1. Check the material

Shower trays come in resin and stone, acrylic and other materials. Tell us what yours is made from when you ask for a quote.

  2. Photograph the damage

Clear photos of scratches, chips, stains and any cracks, taken close up and from further back, help us advise accurately.

  3. Plan the days around the cure

The surface needs to cure before it is used, so plan alternative washing arrangements for the first 24 hours after the work.

  4. Remove screens and clear the room

Shower screens should be removed before the work. Clear the room and wipe down surfaces so that less dust reaches the spray.

  5. Decide on colour

Most people choose bright white, but if you want a different colour, tell us when you ask for a quote.

Good to know

  1. A spray finish is different to a new tray

A new tray has a heat moulded acrylic finish. Ours is a spray gun finish: shiny and easy to clean, but not identical.

  2. Water and standing water

Our guarantee excludes damage caused by dripping taps and standing water, so dry any low spots and fix drips.

  3. Harsh cleaners

Many cleaning agents on the market can damage a coating. Use a soft non-abrasive sponge with warm soapy water, or one of the eco-cleaners your technician recommends.

  4. Report problems promptly

If you notice a problem, send us a picture. Guarantee issues should be reported within 7 days of noticing the damage.

  5. Hair dyes and colourants

Avoid products with a high colour concentration, such as hair dyes, bath bombs and iodine treatments, as these can cause staining.

  • Panelled bath in a cream bathroom after resurfacing
  • Restored white bath with a teal panelled side and tiled surround
  • The same bath after resurfacing in white
