Mendabath has been part of the UK since the 1980s, with its story beginning in South Africa in the 1970s. Since 2011, Grant Helm has led the business with a clear sense of purpose, helping Mendabath UK grow while staying true to the values that matter most.
Our vision is to be known for quality, trust and a more sustainable approach to bathroom restoration. Our mission is simple: to deliver expert work with care, integrity and pride, giving customers a reliable alternative to replacement.
Led by Grant and Lynne, Mendabath is a business built on high standards, strong relationships and a commitment to continual improvement. Grant’s passion for the craft and for doing things better is central to the way the business continues to evolve.

In growing our business, we keep the customer as our core focus; dedicating time and resources to things that matter to our customers. We are here to serve you not the other way around. We offer a full guaranteed service in repairing and restoring baths, basins and shower trays, and as such will not take on work that we do not feel will last and will always recommend replacement if we feel this would be in your best interest.
Lynne’s previous work background is in the interior decorating industry in South Africa and the financial regulatory industry in the UK. This background in both compliance and interiors makes her uniquely qualified for her role in Mendabath. If you are unsure about colours, speak to Lynne for some guidance.
Mendabath has dedicated time and resources to improve our knowledge processes with regards to H&S. We are both Safe Contractor and CHAS accredited. We take our responsibilities to H&S seriously and recognise the importance of H&S as it relates to our technicians, customers and the general public.

Since the late 1970’s Mend-A-Bath International have worked with a number of international laboratories and pooled technology from many sources to produce an enamel based bath paint resurfacing material that is second to none and have developed an application process that is a true leader in its field. Bought the business in 2011. A keen eye for detail and a brilliant technical knowledge with the ability to problem solve most problems. Passionate sportsman, ask him any cricket question and he will be able to answer.

Lynne
Joined in 2015 after 10 years in the financial regulation sector. Running the operations of the business, and helping to bring in new policies and processes. In her spare time, Lynne enjoys baking and you may spot a birthday cake of hers on Instagram.

The creative one in the team. David is a qualified sound engineer and enjoys the arts and culture London has to offer.

Football crazy – coach, player, supporter and dad to football mad boys. A background in the service industry in the NHS.

A farm boy at heart, a gentleman with manners second to none. Cecil has recently completed his first marathon with his personal best time.
