Looking after your resurfaced bath
Cure time
Room temperature must be maintained at 20c or above for the full cure time of 24 hours. If the room temperature is below this we recommend leaving to cure for an additional 24 hours.
Cleaning
Clean your bath with a soft non-abrasive sponge with warm soapy water, such as diluted Fairy Liquid or one of the tested eco-cleaners the technician recommends.
Limescale areas
If you are in a high limescale area you can add a small amount of white vinegar to your washing up liquid mix. In high limescale areas or on baths with low spots, you should dry the bath after use to prevent damage caused by standing water and limescale.
What to avoid
Avoid products with high colour concentration such as bubble baths, bath bombs, iodine treatments such as Betadine shampoo, and home hair dyes and colourants, as these can cause staining.
If you chip the surface
Should you chip the surface of your bath, please contact us for advice.
Mats, pillows and toys
Avoid bath mats, pillows and toys with suction cups. If a bath mat is needed, use one without suction cups and remove it from the bath after every use so the surface can dry properly.
Metal plugs
If you have a metal plug, we recommend replacing it with a plastic one to help prevent accidental damage if dropped.
Minor staining
Should minor staining occur on your bath, it can sometimes be removed with a car polish and a microfibre cloth.
